Kidz Ministries

Kidz Ministries are available every Sunday! (See below for Summer Schedule)

At Unite, we believe there’s unspeakable value in families worshipping Jesus TOGETHER.
After checking in your children at the kiosk, K-6th graders will join their families in the MAIN SERVICE through worship, after which we will call them forward, pray for them and their leaders, and release them to their teaching and small group time.

FAMILY WEEKENDS –  fall on major federal holiday weekends. (i.e. Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, etc.) During Family Weekends we encourage our K-6th graders to join their families in the main service, enjoy the great outdoors with their families, or tune in online. We have birth – 5 years old classes every Sunday.

SUMMER SCHEDULE – KIDZ MINISTRIES FOR 9:30 SERVICE ONLY
For the 11:30 service the message will be live streamed into the Nursing Mom’s Room, a Parent Room, and Home Base)

Emberz (Birth - 5 years)

The Nursing Mothers’ Room

Located next to the café in the foyer. The Nursing Mothers’ Room offers a comfortable, quiet environment where mothers can care for their infants and babies and still hear and watch the message through live streaming. (Changing table located inside this room) MOM’s and children ONLY PLEASE!

The Babiez Room (Birth – 18 months) – Located right next to the Café, just one door down the hallway from the Nursing Mom’s Room. This area also has a changing table accessible to all family members.

The Toddlerz (18m-36m) & PreKz (36m-5yrs) classrooms are located across from Home Base. These curriculum-based classes are staffed with amazing team members who utilize a “small group” structure to build intentional relationships with children using crafts, activities, games, and stories. Through those components, we teach and reinforce these three core truths multiple times throughout the year: God Loves Me, God Cares for Me, and God Wants to be My Friend Forever.

Elementz (K-3rd) Grade

These classes are located up the stairs that are located next to the PreKz Room, across from Home Base, and are comprised of two classroom age groups. Our goal is to teach kids to think multi-generationally and eternally through Holy Spirit empowered truths like: I Can Make the Right Choice, I Can Trust God No Matter What, and I Should Treat Others the Way I Want to be Treated. Resources are available weekly to assist UKidz in partnering with parents as they disciple their children at home.

PATHFINDERZ – K-1st Grade classrooms are located at the top of the stairs, first door on the left.

EXPLORERZ – 2nd – 3rd Grade classrooms are located t the top of the stairs, then take a u-turn right to head down the hallway in the opposite direction. It’ll be the first door on the left.

Elementz (all K-3rd) Large Group Room is located across from the Explorerz Classroom, through the door that protrudes from the wall near the display bulletin board.

PreTeenz (4th-6th grade) Class

The TRAILBLAZERZ (4th-6th Grade PreTeenz) is located down the stairs by the Café and Babiez and into the Youth Wing. This age group gets a little bit more “real”. We start to place a greater emphasis on the kids taking personal ownership of their own discipleship and faith. We do this by first building relationship with them through games and interactive play, extra-curricular events and get togethers, inevitably facilitating… deeper dialogue, challenging discussion questions and authentic conversations.

We challenge our preteens to daily spend time in the Word themselves. To journal and/or do devotionals that require deeper thought and meditation on God’s Word. To pray the Word over themselves and into the lives of those around them. We use a unique “triad” method for discipleship that consists of three major components of 1. Reading the Word 2. Prayer, quiet reflections, and journaling… AND  3. testimonies and teachings.

Monthly take homes help encourage and partner with parents these preteens’ individual, personal discipleship at home.
